pseudomorph of Laumontite. The way these were created was the Apophyllite and Prehnite was deposited in pockets in hydrothermal veins that formed within the mass of basalt as it cooled millions of years ago, forming around matchstick like crystals of Laumontite. Later the Laumontite dissolved away, leaving just these square Apophyllite and light green Prehnite.
